Terms of service
Last updated 27 August 2026.
The service
FinnTech SEO Reporter is operated by FinnTech, New Zealand. It generates scheduled search-performance reports for websites you manage. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of a business, you are agreeing on that business’s behalf.
Your account
Sign-in is by emailed link, so keeping your email account secure is what keeps your FinnTech SEO Reporter account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your clients’ sites
You may only connect a Search Console property you are authorised to access, and you are responsible for having whatever permission you need from your clients to collect and receive reporting about their sites. Reports carry your branding; what you send your clients is between you and them.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly in New Zealand dollars through Stripe, our payment processor. FinnTech is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is added to the prices shown; if that changes, account holders will be told in advance. Plans differ only in how many active clients they cover, and you can move between plans at any time from the billing page.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from the billing page, with no notice period and nothing to email. A cancelled subscription keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops, and you are not charged again. If you change your mind before the period ends, you can resume it from the same page.
Refunds and disputes
If the service has not worked for you, email hello@finntech.nz within 14 days of a charge and we will refund that charge in full, provided no reports were generated for your clients in that period. Outside that window we do not refund partial periods, because a cancelled subscription already runs to the end of what you paid for. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within five to ten business days.
If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first and we will sort it out quickly; that is faster than a card dispute for everyone. Formal disputes and chargebacks go through your card issuer and Stripe, and we respond to them there.
What we promise, and what we do not
Reports are built from third-party data sources, chiefly Google’s. When a source is unavailable or incomplete, a report may be delayed, note the gap, or skip a period; that is deliberate, because a wrong report is worse than a late one. The service is provided as-is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, and its output is reporting, not professional advice.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to monitor sites you have no right to represent, attempt to access other customers’ data, or resell access to the service itself. We can suspend or close accounts that do.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand law that cannot be limited, including under the Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies.
Ending things
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can end the service or these terms with reasonable notice; if we ever discontinue the service, we will give account holders time to collect their reports first.
The boring but necessary
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email account holders before the change takes effect. Questions go to hello@finntech.nz.
